Colour: Pale straw.
Tasting notes, undiluted: Nose: Clotted cream & vanilla (American cream soda) with aromatic aromas of white pepper and newly sawn oak. Subtle Islay, phenolic character - kippers. Palate: Sweet - toffee and burnt caramel/candy floss, spicy - chilli peppers. Smoky flavours develop.
With water: Nose: Vanilla - American cream soda and butterscotch. Herbal with spicy hints. Palate: Spicy, oily with floral hints. Some roasted malt flavours with a medicinal edge.
Body: Light. Finish: Slightly medicinal with a rounding sweetness. Cask Type: Refill American Hogsheads. Style: Subtle Islay Malt - pleasant balance of flavours.
