Briottet - Creme d'Abricot (Apricot)Liqueur
Apricots come from China and arrived in central Europe via the Caspian Sea.
This round-shaped fruit with its velvety skin (when it is ripe) is orange yellow or red. Put to macerate in alcohol, the apricot with its huge gustative qualities, swollen with sugar and sunshine, having reached full maturity, impregnates the alcoholic liquid with its delicious and refreshing flavour, perfectly restored after adding a small quantity of sugar.
Creme d'Abricot is served well-chilled as a digestif, or can be served as a perfect addition to a number of cocktails.
