This is by far the best Flora Fauna in the range!
One of the finest drams i have tasted, long, complex and supremly smooth. Such a shame it is becoming so difficult to find.
Mortlach's 16 year old is the distinctive Dufftown malt, light years ahead of other releases even from the same distillery. As a Speyside, you'd normally expect a certain softness and some floral notes, but this is simply amazing - so gentle, the spirit just warms the throat without burning, and the palate is quite marvellous, with hints of lavender and thyme.
