There is of course an interesting history here, with Bulmers buying Magners and then being bought back by Mr Magner but the wonderful thing is how everybody has has bought the \"tradition\" of Magners when compared to Westons, Bulmers etc they have been there five minutes. Still you cannot fault the product which is a \"Strongbow\" style bog standard fermented apple juice just made for mass glugging, but why the ice? A marketing master ploy that\'s what!

As a child I couldn't wait to taste my fist glass of cider!!! Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox and the descriptions of Bean's underground cellar of apple cider made my mouth water at the prospect of such a fantastic beverage. How dissapointed I was when my introduction to cider was White Lightening. As I reached my 18th birthday I vowed never to drink cider ever again...until now!!! The mid afternoon heat, the glass full of ice, the rose like colour...I gave in and broke my vow. Apples THIS IS CIDER!! I can't get Apples enough. This is the stuff I've been wanting to drink since I was 10 years old, the stuff Mr Fox partied like it was 1999 to, I could happily dig a tunnel to the Magners brewery and live underground forever.
