The skin of the small Curacao oranges is very aromatic. That is why Gabriel Boudier only keep the skin and distill it in there old 150-year-stills.
The curacao orange skins are aged in a glass 'bonbonne' (sort of big glass jar) during 5 years. Then, they add an amount of sugar and a blue colouring agent which will add a brightness/a dash of colour to your cocktails. This particular orange brings both bitterness and elegance
