Limited stock.
Brilliant, medium to high depth. Cherry red in the centre of the glass with a garnet and tawny rim. Intense and complex to the nose. Aromas of spices and new wood (toasty, leather, vanilla, balsam).
Well finished, powerful, enveloping tannic notes in the mouth that develop into an elegant meatiness and just the right acidity to match any dish. Serve between 18 degrees c and 19 degrees c.
Aged 30 months in casks - 80% American oak from West Virginia and 20% French oak from Les Vosges.
Grape: 85% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano, 5% Mazuelo.
9 from Bodegas Faustino Martinez-Oyen

Probably the best bottle of wine I have ever tasted! It worked fantastically well with a very rare steak with a cheese sauce and the end of the bottle was perfect to sip down with some after dinner chocolates. I would definitely buy again, a great wine for an extra special occasion.
Good but not great. Not really that much better than Faustino VII. Thinner than expected.
