Irish Single Malt Whiskey

Country of Origin

Key Information

Magilligan Pure Pot Still Single Malt Irish Whiskey is distilled and bottled at Riverstown on the north east coast of Ireland.

The distillery overlooks the green rolling hills of Dundalk, and is only a stone's throw away from the Irish Sea.

Malted barley dried over a peat fire and soft local spring water have been used to produce this soft and lightly peated whiskey.

Magilligan Peated traces its history back to the bygone era when Connemara farmers used, in the malting process, and for distillation fuel, hand cut peat from the west coast. Each cask has been hand picked by the Master Blender at Cooley and tasted by their nosing panel.

Only the best of casks will be bottled as Magilligan.

This 8 year old vintage 1992 is matured in bourbon casks, selected from a batch of only 5 casks.
