A blend of wines from the five main regions of Champagne, Ay, Bouzy, Avize, Verzenay and Cramant, all rated 100% on the quality scale.
The saying that “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts” describes this cuvée perfectly.
Its creation is an annual exercise in balancing the different shades of flavour.
The balance is needed as the proportions in which the wines are blended vary each year to produce consistency of taste.
The shades of flavour refer to the contrasting qualities of the different terroirs that come together in a harmony of flavours
