Bouquet. Fresh, juicy raspberry and cherry fruit aromas, with hints of rose petal, white pepper and spice.

Palate. Lively and fruit-driven, with cherry syrup and berry confection notes; soft and fleshy structure, with surprisingly persistent length of flavour to a clean finish.

Delicious on its own on a warm summer's day, or as a partner for good food.

Moderate winter rains were followed by periods of heavy rain in Spring and early Summer, providing ample soil moisture reserves. Conditions during the ripening period were mild by Australian standards, with dry weather reducing disease pressure, and warm, fine, sundrenched days extending well into autumn along with cool nights ensuring gradual ripening.

These conditions produced fully ripened grapes with excellent colour, intense flavours with fabulous purity and varietal expression, and full yet supple tannin profiles.
