Insoglio is the foundation wine in the production pyramid of Tenuta di Biserno.

It is made in part from the younger vineyards on the property (Vigna Fonti Intarlate, Vigna San Giovanni e Vigna Le Vallette).

Insoglio is a supple and early maturing wine with a distinctive personality; it emphasizes intense fruitiness with a bouquet of ripe red berries.

Colour: Intense ruby red with purple reflections.

Nose: Intensely fruity with a hint of spicy oak.

Palate: A balanced and harmonious wine with rich fruit and a good backbone of fine tannins. It is a pleasant wine that will gain in complexity with another few months in the bottle.

Grape: 35% Syrah, 30% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot.
