Key Information

This Swedish Vodka is now the number one selling vodka in the world.

Introduced in 1879 as an absolutely pure vodka which used a new distilling process called rectification.

The clear bottle is styled after an old Swedish medicine bottle.

Made from locally grown wheat and well-water from the town of Ahus in southern Sweden.

Smooth and light-bodied with some licorice flavours.

This vodka is really pure. I Find it has less of a "Bite" than Smirnoff which means when mixed it lets other flavours take it over. If you wish to drink an averaged priced vodka that's pure, wont leave you with a bad hangover, tastes good, then you cant go wrong with this.

Absolut is without doubt the best vodka I've ever had the pleasure of drinking. My first experience of it was at the Ice Bar in London. It is smooth with a great taste, but yet when it's ice cold, it manages to leave a warmth so great you won't forget it. I'd also recommend this to any singers as it's great at loosening the throat and getting moisture levels just right for a performance!!

Really good vodka not like the nasty tasting vodka you can buy! Would recommend to everyone.

Maybe just me but I didn't find anything particularly distinctive from this bottle of vodka. Maybe its because it has become so mainstream it has lost the unique characters that you'd often associate with a specialist vodka. This certainly has to be mixed it is almost undrinkable without one and this one you'd have to be liberal with the mixer. The only benefit this vodka has is its ABV (i.e. it will get you intoxicated faster than the premium vodka's, if that's what you want).
