This elegant crisp gin has been two years in the making as the aim was to make the finest gin in the world and to do this you need the finest base spirit.

Not many people know that you need vodka to make gin. After much experimenting, Chase Distillery turned organic cider apples, from the estate, into vodka and used this beautiful product to make the gin. Having been through our copper pot still and column, with 42 bubble plates, twice and then the pretty little Carter Head style gin still, the finished gin is distilled over 100 times.

This gin is complicated. The taste is the true taste of junipers highlighted by the citrus and the sweetness of the apples, elderflowers and hops. It has a beautiful and textured mouth feel due to the luscious organic apples and the naturally pure water taken straight from the aquifer that runs underneath our orchards.

If drinking this gin with a tonic serve with a slice of apple to bring out the flavour.

The botanicals: Juniper, Coriander, Angelica, Liquorice, Orris, Orange and Lemon peel, Hops, Elderflower and fresh Bramley apples.

This is probably my favourite gin. Intriguingly, the gin smells like chocolate orange (although sadly, in my opinion, does not taste like it). A very smooth, easy-drinking gin with plenty of flavour. Pairs well with orange as well as apple or lime.

One of the best bottles I've seen, but by no means an amazing gin, well that is compared to Sacred anyway.
