Colour: Mild yellow with green hints

Nose: A powerful and mature nose dominated by citrus fruit and lemon peel with hints of spice, cloves and basil.

Palate: Full bodied and silky with a well balanced alcohol. Citrus and lemon flovours give way to nutmeg and cloves. Rounded off by a beautifully long and mineraly finish.

To the north of Guebwiller, Saering faces east and south-east, at an altitude of 260 to 300 meters. Saering's marl/limestone/sandstone terroir brings out the best in this magnificent, fine, delicate Riesling.

Hand-picked into crates. Whole bunches pressed at once before being left to settle on the lees. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled tuns before being left for another 8 months on the lees.

Tall bottle may not fit in gift boxes.
