Key Information

Erdinger Weissbier is not only the undisputed classic in the Erdinger product range, it is also quite simply the wheat beer par- excellence.

It is brewed using fine yeast according to a traditional recipe and, of course, in strict accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law. Even today, the beer is still bottle-fermented in the traditional way; it takes three to four weeks for Erdinger Weissbier 'with fine yeast' to mature.

Only the finest ingredients are used in its production. Years of experience and constant quality checks guarantee the beer's unmistakable flavour.

A wheat beer for those who love outstanding and unforgettable wheat beer flavour.

Simply the best Wißbier's there is out there bar 1, 'Franziskaner' which I am supprised not to see on Comparing it to the above Erdinger has less fizz, a lighter colour & a slightly softer taste with slight hints of citrus(probably orange)peel coming through on the after taste instead of clove making it infinatly more quaffable. As always serve with a large creamy head & not too chilled to take advantage of all its wonderfull aromas.

A very tasty wheat bear, Pale of colour with a reserved flavour that remains in the background of the palette. Always with a large crisp white head. I would recommend four bottles, Highly chilled and served in a tall chilled glass. Perfection for a blonde. Usual Suspects - Kronenbourg 1664, Grolsch, Becks Vier, Boheme Pilsner and Zywiec.
