Usually served as a chilled shot from their now famous Jager' Tap Machines in pubs around the world, or combined with high-ernergy drinks, or in an explosive Jagerbomb!

Jagermeister, means hunt-master and is a German bitter liqueur that dates from the seventh century and made of a complex blend of 56 herbs, fruits and spices.

The label features a stag's head with a cross, because according to legend, the drinks founder Hubertas, upon losing his wife, would go off into the woods alone to hunt, and saw a magnificent stag with a floating cross between its antlers.

His vision moved him to change his life and gave all his material possesions away before founding several monastries and becoming the Patron Saint of Hunters.

First of all, Jager does not leave you with a hangover. I don\'t know what other people are talking about. It\'s a fantastic drink either as in ice cold shot, a Jager Bomb(shot of Jager dropped in a glass of red bull and downed in one) or just with red bull as a mixer. A must have either on a night out or at a house party. Let the fun times begin!!

I wasn't too sure about this drink at first so I bought a miniature to test it out and wow, what can I say. It's very smooth and tastes a bit like aniseed and liquorish. Very nice to drink both straight and mixed in a cocktail. I recommend you try it!

I was introduced to the lovely Jagermeister last year and it was love at first sip! A truly magnificent drink, I prefer it ice cold on its own. But its a winner in any combination. Nectar of the Gods!

I am so grateful I found this website! I see that no one has written any reviews for quite a while, but I just wanted to say thank you to every person here that wrote in about how addicting this heavenly drink is and also for saying that you won't remember much after a night of drinking it! I seriously thought I was in big trouble, you know, the Betty Ford kind. I love this drink so much I look forward to coming home at night to have a couple of ice-cold shots! I have to take it easy though, because if I have a few too many shots, I don't remember in the morning about what I did the night before! Cheers!

Not nice on it's own or as a shot, but in a Jagerbomb, its ace! Fill a small shot glass with Jagermeister, put a couple of inches of red bull in a larger glass and drop the shot glass into it.
