The 2008 vintage is deep red in colour with garnet tints.

The nose is full of mulberry and liquorice notes.

Merlot has given a velvet-textured palate, with intense cassis and fine-grained tannins from the Syrah, as well as a lingering, complex vanilla and spice finish from 18 months ageing in French oak.

50% Syrah/Shiraz, 50% Merlot.
