Beautiful ruby colour with some purple highlights.

Minty nose, a little spicy black pepper, but also notes of dark berries, cassis and blackberry.

Pretty bold, well rounded and a good tannic structure revealing a superb balance.

The fruit is present throughout the tasting. Very clear, uniform and fine.

Silky finish and good length.

To decant an hour before tasting.

A hot, dry spring, cool, wet summer causing streaks (so small crop), and September-October warm and dry to achieve a good maturity of two varieties with a good health status.
