Pomerol Red Wine
Clinet - Ronan 2009

Country of Origin

Key Information

Other Information

  • Grape TypeMerlot

This is Chateau Clinet's youngest sibling, named after the estate's owner, Ronan Laborde; and with vineyards just outside Pomerol.

It undoubtedly delivers the quality we have come to associate with this great appellation though, just without the price tag.

Drinking now.

"Ronan By Clinet" is made in the same way, in the same style, at the same place, by the same people as the Grand Vin which scores 97-100 from Parker in this great vintage.

2009 really suits this lesser wine as the lush, rich fruit concentration and good acidity structure underpin the wine - drink now or hold for 3-5 years ... this wine is unmissable... the most extraordinary value red wine under the sun." - Matthew Jukes.
