Escarpment's The Edge Pinot Gris is grown on the alluvial gravel terraces for which the region of Martinborough has become famous.

The style is off-dry (3.3g/l residual sugar) with a soft ripe backbone and long lingering finish. Currently, the wine shows the pear/white stone fruit flavours this variety is renowned for.
