If you are a chocolate or coffee lover, you will adore this wine!
The wine has been aged in carefully selected new French and American oak barrels for 6 months, to draw out the natural coffee and chocolate flavours. The result is a wine oozing with aromas of mocha, complimenting the blackcurrant, berry and plum flavours from the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The rich, roasted flavours perfectly complement a dark bitter chocolate, creating a match made in chocolate heaven.

Reviewed by Tom Cannavan 3rd March 2013 wine-pages.com "The Cafe Caberenet is part of a new genre of 'coffee wines' that has appeared over the past few years, not actually containing coffee, but aged in oak specifically chosen for its coffee-ish aroma and flavour. This benefits from not being as overdone as some, the bitter espresso and cocoa note matched by distinct blackcurrant. On the palate the espresso is there, but the 13.5% alcohol helps give some life and refinement too."
