"Smith Woodhouse produces Ports that are often in the premier league." Richard Mayson, Port and Douro, 1999 .

This is a young blended Tawny Port. Smith Woodhouse Fine Tawny is a lighter, more delicate, and slightly drier wine than the Ruby. The combination of careful blending with ageing in small oak casks, has produced a wine, which combines fruity characteristics with a roundness and elegance achieved from the cask ageing.
