Layers is a unique blend that delivers a highly enjoyable journey of discovery for the senses in each and every glass. This multi-dimensional wine is an exciting blend. The colour is a beautiful black cherry with a burst of fresh red berries and spice on the nose. The palate is a pleasant combination of savoury plum and chocolate, ending with chalky tannins and a soft fruited finish.

A blend of Shiraz 41%, Mourvedre 20%, Tempranillo 19%, Grenache 17% and Carignane 3% all sourced from Barossa vineyards

Shiraz delivers fruit depth and structure, combining beautifully with the aromatics and spiciness of Grenache, Mourvedre adds wild earthy notes to the blend and melds together with the firm, savoury character of Tempranillo, to surround and soften the palate of this wonderful wine.

This is a wine to be enjoyed as a relative youngster. It drinks beautifully with a range of foods, including Mediterranean influenced meat dishes, spicy Indian style curries and hearty casseroles.
