Torreon De Paredes
The Torreon de Paredes winemaking philosophy is simple. Fine wine can only be made with fine grapes. This philosophy was introduced by Don Amado Paredes and is still embraced today by his sons, Javier and Alvaro Paredes. In their youth, neither brother wanted to go into the family business. Javier is a lawyer to trade, having studied in new Orleans and Alvaro is an architect. However, both found their true calling and have been involved in the business for over 20 years.
Torreon de Paredes remains one of the few Chilean wineries that have never purchased grapes or wines from third parties. All of the Torreon de Paredes are grown and bottled on the estate, ensuring the brothers remain in complete control of the entire process.
