The 2.5 hectares of organic vineyards are located on steep (45) slate slopes at 650 metres above sea level, near the small town of Sedella. Many of the bush vines are over 100 years old. The grapes are harvested manually with the help of draft animals (donkeys), using Roman ploughs. The Mediterranean Sea can be seen to the south from the vineyards and the often snow-capped peak of La Maroma mountain can been seen to the North. The altitude and proximity to the sea gives Sedella wonderful elegance and freshness.
