Van Bulck Belgian organic craft beers were created in 2013 by Denis Renty, an ex-chef and sommelier with more than 20 years experience in the food and drink industry.
The name Van Bulck is in reference to Denis's mother's maiden name. His mother, who is a renowned chef was born and raised in a small town called Watou in Flanders, known across the globe for growing some of the best hops used in the beer making process.
As a child she grew up and played in her uncle's family brewery where her passion for beer was born. Today, she still runs that family hotel/restaurant where she works with only organic products.
There are three beers within the Van Bulck range including a gluten free organic lager, an organic blonde beer and an organic wild fruit beer. The beers have been developed by Denis in partnership with a brewery that has been brewing beers for seven generations.
The brewery, which is in Flanders in Belgium has been brewing beers since 1830. The Van Bulck range of organic craft beers are based on an old family recipe which have been adapted to suit the palate of today's beer drinkers.
