Domaine Amiot Guy et Fils
Guy Amiot is widely regarded as being one of the best producers in Chassagne Montrachet, if not all of the Cote-dOr. In Robert Parker's book, Burgubndy (1990) he writes, "The wines tend to be rich, full and classically rendered. Guy Amiot has immensely improved the quality of the wines from this domaine. The white wines may be on the verge of rivaling those from some of the best producers in Puligny Montrachet and Chassagne Montrachet. Amiot also produces some of the finest reds in Chassagne Montrachet." In Matt Kramers book, 'Making Sense of Burgundy' (1990) he lists Guy Amiot as one of the producers worth seeking out. "The wines from this producer give me reason to think that Guy Amiot is one of the unheralded top-rank winemakers in Chassagne Montrachet."
